LEARN ABOUT ME

The story goes like this. I was…

I was born in Iraq and grew up in London. My formative years continued in the high school and college in the USA. I received a BA in Biology from the University of Kansas. My career began in IT support, right before the tech bubble burst in 2001.

This led me to move from Kansas City to Scottsdale, Arizona where I started a tech support company for small businesses. After selling the company, I returned to corporate life, consulting across 44 of the 50 states. My journey then took me to Melbourne, Australia as a sales engineer for APAC. I then moved to Singapore in 2008 as a sales engineering manager for the same region. I progressed to a director role covering APJ for prominent tech companies, navigating two acquisitions.

Eventually, I quit the corporate world to move back to the UK to build my own startup and write several e-books, which I successfully exited five years later in January 2025. Tragically, that same month, I lost my father after a long battle with dementia. Rest in peace, Dad.

In February 2025, I refocused on technology, dedicating myself to educating businesses on AI and launching a boutique software development firm. This firm specializes in AI and automating various tasks and business processes, with or without AI agents.

My mission extended to launching Quiki.io into beta in March 2025, followed by The Lazy Developer (thelazydeveloper.org) in April 2025. I regularly speak on AI to diverse businesses and at events, driven by a passion to ensure no one is left behind in this technological evolution.
